Nir Shviv has written an excellent article on the effect of charged particles, controlled by our Sun, on our climate. This has been one of the most promising theories of solar effect on our planet in my very humble opinion. There has been a lot written about it but quantifying the effect has been difficult. Dr. Shaviv has established a definite correlation between cosmic ray impact on our atmosphere and climate over eons. He also establishes the different concentrations across the Milky Way that contradicts the idea that cosmic ray density is constant and only solar activity modulates the concentration we see. Pretty revolutionary.
Hope you enjoy this. It is a relatively easy read, so most will get the message. Not particularly comfortable with the dark matter references. That subject is right up there with the Big Bang Theory for fanciful science. I have just started reading Hilton Ratcliffe’s book, The Static Universe. His books have been instrumental in understanding the folly of some “generally accepted” scientific theories.
